AWV: Annual Wellness Visit
A workflow type defines reusable steps, artifacts, and review boundaries. Each active instance appears in the AWV worklist.

Creates the workflow instance and verifies that the site connector can provide enough context.

Review boundaryDoes not call the patient or create clinical findings.

Provider
Call
Starts the Vapi AWV outreach call and tracks provider interaction state.
OwnsProvider request, call status, call timestamps, failure reason, and link to the eventual transcript artifact.
InputsWorkflow instance, phone profile, selected Vapi workflow definition, and approved patient contact.
OutputsCompleted, failed, or in-progress call artifact ready for transcript ingestion.
Review boundaryDoes not interpret clinical content beyond provider status.

Evidence
Transcript
Turns completed call output into source evidence the clinician can inspect.
OwnsRaw turns, speaker labels, timestamps, recording link metadata, and ingestion status.
InputsVapi callback payload, call artifact, transcript text, and recording metadata when present.
OutputsA normalized transcript artifact linked to the workflow instance.
Review boundaryDoes not create findings or decide whether AWV requirements were met.

Algorithm boundary
Assessment
Runs the explicit algorithm step from transcript evidence to structured findings.
OwnsExtraction, deterministic checks, evidence mapping, model output version, and validation errors.
InputsNormalized transcript artifact and AWV assessment rules for the selected workflow definition.
OutputsStructured findings with source references and unresolved checks for clinician review.
Review boundaryDerived findings remain reviewable evidence, not final clinician disposition.

Clinician review
Lets the clinician confirm, correct, and save the final disposition.
OwnsDisposition, owner, correction note, accepted findings, rejected findings, and review timestamp.
InputsTranscript, structured findings, deterministic checks, and relevant site context.
OutputsReviewed workflow instance with a final clinician disposition.
Review boundaryDoes not write back to site systems unless that connector action is enabled.
